Meet the Crew Behind Coastal Junk Pros

Founded in 2021 by Marine Corps veteran Marcus Greene and his wife Tanya, we bring military discipline and community values to every junk removal job in Savannah.

Our Story

From the Marines to Your Front Door

Marcus Greene spent a decade in the United States Marine Corps, stationed at nearby Fort Stewart, Georgia. During those years, he learned that no mission succeeds without discipline, accountability, and genuine respect for the people you serve.

When Marcus and his wife Tanya decided to build a business in the community they call home, they chose junk removal because they saw a gap: too many companies showed up late, quoted one price and charged another, and sent everything straight to the landfill.

Coastal Junk Pros was founded in 2021 with one truck and a simple promise: show up on time, quote honestly, work hard, and keep as much as possible out of the landfill by donating usable items to Savannah charities and recycling everything we can.

Today, we operate two trucks with a crew of four. We have completed over 1,000 jobs across Savannah, Pooler, Richmond Hill, and surrounding communities. Our 60% landfill diversion rate is something we are deeply proud of, and we are working to push it even higher every year.

Our Values

Values We Live By, Every Job

The principles Marcus learned in the Marine Corps are the foundation of how we run Coastal Junk Pros. They are not just words on a wall; they show up in every interaction.

Discipline

Every job starts on time and follows a proven process. Our military background means we plan the work, work the plan, and leave your space cleaner than we found it.

Integrity

We quote upfront and honor that price. No hidden fees, no bait-and-switch. If the job ends up smaller than expected, you pay less. Period.

Community

Savannah is home. We donate usable items to local charities, hire locally, and support fellow veteran organizations throughout Chatham County.

Environmental Responsibility

We divert 60% of what we haul from the landfill through donations and recycling. Every truck load is sorted so that reusable goods find a second life.

Our Commitment

Giving Back to Savannah

Every truck load we haul gets sorted. Furniture, appliances, and household goods in good condition are donated to local Savannah charities. Metal, cardboard, electronics, and other recyclable materials go to the appropriate recycling facilities.

On average, 60% of what we pick up never reaches a landfill. That means for every full truck we haul, more than half of those items find a second life through donation or responsible recycling.

As a veteran-owned business, we also support fellow service members and veteran organizations in the Savannah area. Community is not just a value; it is how we operate.
