Please read these terms carefully before using our junk removal services. By engaging Coastal Junk Pros, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Coastal Junk Pros website (coastaljunkpros.com) or engaging our junk removal services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Site or services.

These Terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access or use our Site and services. Coastal Junk Pros is a junk removal company operating in Savannah, Georgia and surrounding areas including Pooler, Richmond Hill, Rincon, Garden City, Bloomingdale, and Chatham County.

2. Description of Services

Coastal Junk Pros provides professional junk removal services for residential and commercial properties. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Residential junk removal and cleanouts
  • Estate cleanouts and foreclosure cleanups
  • Commercial and office cleanouts
  • Furniture and appliance removal
  • Yard waste and debris removal
  • Construction debris hauling
  • Hot tub and shed demolition and removal
  • Storage unit cleanouts

We reserve the right to refuse service for any job we determine to be unsafe, outside our scope of expertise, or involving prohibited items as described in Section 6 below.

3. Pricing and Payment

Coastal Junk Pros uses a transparent, volume-based pricing model. Our prices are determined by the amount of truck space your items occupy:

  • Minimum Load (1/8 Truck): Our starting price for small pickups of a few items.
  • Quarter Truck Load: Suitable for a small room cleanout or several large items.
  • Half Truck Load: Ideal for a garage cleanout or medium-sized project.
  • Full Truck Load: For large cleanouts, estate cleanups, or major projects.

Free On-Site Estimates: We provide free, no-obligation estimates. Our team will assess the volume of items and provide an upfront price before any work begins. The quoted price is the price you pay; there are no hidden fees or surcharges.

Payment: Payment is due upon completion of the job. We accept cash, check, and all major credit and debit cards. For commercial accounts or large projects, alternative payment arrangements may be made in advance.

Price Adjustments: If the actual volume of items is less than initially estimated, we will reduce the price accordingly. If additional items are added beyond the original estimate, we will inform you of the adjusted price before proceeding.

4. Scheduling and Cancellation

Scheduling: Appointments can be scheduled by phone at (912) 555-0247 or through our website contact form. We offer same-day and next-day service when availability permits. We will provide you with a 2-hour arrival window for your scheduled appointment.

Cancellation Policy: We understand that plans change. You may cancel or reschedule your appointment at no charge provided you give us at least 24 hours notice before the scheduled service time.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice or no-shows may be subject to a service fee to cover the cost of scheduling, travel, and crew allocation. We will always attempt to reach you before assessing any such fee.

Weather and Delays: In cases of severe weather or unforeseen circumstances that prevent us from completing your scheduled appointment, we will contact you to reschedule at the earliest available time at no additional cost.

5. Liability and Property

Care of Property: Our crew is trained to handle your property with care. We take reasonable precautions to protect floors, walls, doorways, and landscaping during the removal process.

Damage Claims: In the unlikely event that our crew causes damage to your property during the course of service, please notify us within 48 hours of the service date. We will investigate all claims promptly and, where our crew is at fault, we will repair or compensate for the damage.

Limitation of Liability: Coastal Junk Pros' total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, items left in the path of removal that were not identified, or damage resulting from conditions beyond our reasonable control.

Insurance: Coastal Junk Pros carries general liability insurance. Proof of insurance is available upon request.

6. Prohibited Items

For the safety of our crew and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, we cannot accept the following items:

  • Hazardous materials (chemicals, solvents, pesticides, asbestos)
  • Medical waste, biohazards, or sharps
  • Flammable liquids and gases (gasoline, propane tanks, paint thinner)
  • Explosives, ammunition, or firearms
  • Radioactive materials
  • Unlabeled or unknown containers of liquids or chemicals
  • Materials requiring specialized environmental remediation

If you are unsure whether an item can be accepted, please contact us before your appointment. We can often recommend proper disposal resources for prohibited items in the Savannah area.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Coastal Junk Pros, its owners, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from:

  • Your misrepresentation of the items to be removed, including failure to disclose prohibited or hazardous materials.
  • Your violation of these Terms of Service.
  • Any third-party claims related to items you have authorized us to remove from your property.

8. Ownership and Disposal

By authorizing Coastal Junk Pros to remove items from your property, you represent that you are the lawful owner of those items or have proper authorization from the owner to dispose of them. Once items are loaded onto our truck, ownership transfers to Coastal Junk Pros.

We will dispose of items responsibly by donating usable goods to local Savannah charities, recycling eligible materials, and sending remaining items to appropriate disposal facilities. We do not guarantee that specific items will be donated or recycled, but we strive to divert at least 60% of all collected items from landfills.

No Returns: Once items are loaded and removed from your property, we cannot return them. Please ensure you have removed all personal valuables, documents, and sentimental items before our crew arrives.

9. Website Use

The content on our website, including text, images, graphics, and logos, is the property of Coastal Junk Pros and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from our Site without our prior written consent.

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites for your convenience. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party sites.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the Terms were last revised.

Your continued use of our Site or services after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Chatham County, Georgia.
